Hi I'm Ashley! The heart and lens behind Ash Rae photography.
Born and raised in the beautiful Finger Lakes, I was always out adventuring and capturing just about everything with a camera strapped to my side! What started as a hobby snapping photos of nature, friends, and family, quickly turned into a passion of mine that I knew I had to pursue!
Now I get to capture love, laughter, and life’s most magical moments for others, too!
I believe in creating space for people to show up exactly as they are. Whether it's a chaotic family session, a quiet elopement, or a milestone moment, I'll be right there - laughing with you, camera in hand, ready to make magic!
Over the years, l've had my work published, featured, and voted "Best Photographer" by a very official panel of friends and clients (they have good taste what can I say) haha But my biggest honor? Being trusted to capture your real life special moments.
When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll find me spending time with my friends and family, planning my next trip (camera in tow, of course), finding the cutest new coffee shops, and being the best plant mom!
